At the time of Henry's marriage in 1901, he was recorded as living at "The Terricks" the Melbourne Mansion in which James and Mary lived. James and Mary were childless and it appears Henry was their chosen heir. Elizabeth, Henry's older sister also lived at "The Terricks" at the time of her marriage in 1904. Images of "The Terricks" can be found on the net - pictures related to a sale a couple of years ago, show incredibly opulent internal features and decorations. James it seems was incredibly wealthy.
